SEATTLE, WA – July 13, 2021 – Silver Creek Capital Management (“Silver Creek”), a boutique alternative investment manager, today announced that Brendan Connor, former Executive Director and a strategy head within the Absolute Return Strategies group at GCM Grosvenor, has joined the firm as a Managing Director. In this role, Mr. Connor will serve as a portfolio manager for select Silver Creek hedge fund strategies and build upon the firm’s longstanding history of managing a diversified portfolio of long-term alpha generators irrespective of market conditions. Based in Seattle, Mr. Connor reports to Art Zaske, Silver Creek’s Deputy Chief Investment Officer.

Mr. Connor brings over a decade of credit, absolute return and alternative investment experience to Silver Creek. He spent the last five years at GCM Grosvenor, where he most recently oversaw the firm’s relative value, macro, and quantitative investment strategies. Previously, he was a Managing Director at multi-family investment manager Hillview Capital Advisors, where he led the team’s multi-asset class research and due diligence efforts. He also served as co-portfolio manager of Hillview’s credit-focused multi-manager fund, where he opportunistically deployed capital against the backdrop of the recovery in global credit markets post-2008. Mr. Connor received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hamilton College.
