ERIC DILLON is Silver Creek’s Chief Executive Officer and Co-Chief Investment Officer. Mr. Dillon oversees all investing and non-investing activities at Silver Creek. Along with Mr. Matter, he is responsible for all investment research activities, manager sourcing, portfolio construction and portfolio risk management. In conjunction with these responsibilities, Mr. Dillon sits on numerous advisory boards of Silver Creek portfolio investments. Mr. Dillon has been involved in the investment industry since 1982 when he started his career as a stock broker at Drexel Burnham Lambert. In 1994, Mr. Dillon launched Silver Creek’s first fund of funds offering, Dillon/Flaherty Market Neutral Fund, L.P. (now known as DFP Fund, L.P.). In addition to his background in alternative investments, Mr. Dillon has experience in various private business transactions, including being a founding investor and advisory board member of Amazon.com and AQuantive (later sold to Microsoft). Mr. Dillon holds an undergraduate degree from Washington State University and an MBA from Rutgers University.

He is also the owner of the 22,500-acre Sandy Arrow Ranch, a central Montana farm/ranch that is working on sustainable, regenerative agendas, including climate change mediation. Mr. Dillon has a deep interest in environmental issues and cares passionately about preserving America’s wild places. He is a board member of the Idaho chapter of the Nature Conservancy and Regenified LLC, a company providing regenerative certification for farm and ranch land. He is also a longtime supporter of other environmental causes.

Mr. Dillon is the Producer of the documentary film Common Ground which highlights the benefits of regenerative agriculture. Prior to the world premiere at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival, Common Ground was awarded the 2023 Human/Nature Award, a prize established to amplify a film that best exemplifies solution oriented environmental storytelling. Common Ground is the sequel to the Netflix distributed film Kiss the Ground.
