NATE KELSO is the Chief Technology Officer at Silver Creek. He is responsible for building and maintaining technology systems that improve operational efficiency across Silver Creek’s business divisions. Prior to joining Silver Creek in 2024, Mr. Kelso founded and ran Kelso Investment Technology, LLC, a full-service IT consulting firm specializing in investment management. Previously, Mr. Kelso spent nine years at Research Affiliates, where he served as Senior Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer and Head of Information Technology. In that role, he oversaw the Information Technology team and managed application development, project management, business analysis, as well as the infrastructure and cloud computing strategy. Before Research Affiliates, Mr. Kelso was a Director for BlackRock’s Platform and Integration Division, where he oversaw the development and implementation of all technology initiatives that supported the BlackRock Alternative Advisors, BlackRock’s Hedge Fund Solutions team. Mr. Kelso joined BlackRock by way of acquisition in 2007, when BlackRock acquired the alternative investment management business of Quellos. At Quellos, he was the Associate Director of Product Management. Mr. Kelso started his career at Frank Russell Company as a Programmer Analyst. He holds a B.A. in Finance from Washington State University. He is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the Orange County Society of Financial Analysts.
